MEI is a subsidiary of the Australian pharmaceutical company, Novogen Limited. MEI has been formed to commercialise an important recent discovery in the oncology field - a new family of chemicals known as multiple signal transduction regulators ("MSTR"). This new family of anti-cancer drugs was discovered originally by Novogen scientists. MEI was formed in order to provide a scientific and commercial focus for this new family of drugs. MEI is dedicated to developing a number of these new drug candidates to become a new generation of anti-cancer therapies, to be used across a broad range of cancer types. The first MSTR drug, phenoxodiol, currently is in Phase III trials. A number of other MSTR anti-cancer drugs are being developed. MEI is listed on the Nasdaq market in the United States of America (Code: MSHL). View investment information |
