Novogen has today announced that due to delays in hearing its case and the significant development progress made with its anti-cancer drug phenoxodiol, its subsidiary company MEI, has withdrawn its appeal to the stop order placed on the now superseded MEI prospectus.

(SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA) Australian pharmaceutical company, Novogen Limited, today announced that it has been cleared to begin the fifth human trial of its experimental anti-cancer drug, phenoxodiol. An oral form of the compound will be used in patients with leukemia on the Phase Ib/IIa trial, which will be conducted at Royal North Shore Hospital, a major teaching hospital in Sydney.
